Having written for more years than I’d care to admit, I’ve covered a wide range of topics, from the role of marketing in politics to motorcycling in New Zealand. I have flown aerobatics in a fighter trainer, lived in a retirement home, toured the sewers of Vienna, crossed Maryland on a bicycle built for two, climbed the Bay Bridge with the maintenance crew, and personally tried out more than 1,000 pieces of consumer technology and more than 500 apps.
My work has appeared in more than 100 publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Business Week, Forbes, Outside, Maxim, Self, and the Arbutus Times. I have won both local and national awards for my writing and photography.
